I couldn't possibly answer this, as I'd be torn between so many. However, probably the first live rock album I really got seriously hooked on was The Song Remains The Same by Led Zeppelin. I have the remastered limited edition 4 LP box set of it now. But there is a big difference between " greatest" and "Favorite". By no means is it my favorite, but.. it would be hard to argue the immediate impact of KISS Alive 1. Their success is directly linked to the release. Prior to its release, they had mediocre notoriety.
As opposed to nearly every other live release, in which is a final piece of the success, of a band.
Some propositions:
1. Thin lizzy live and dangerous
2. The Who, Live at Leeds
3. New Model Army:BBC Radio One Live In Concert (Live In Berlin 1990)
4. Spear Of Destiny Live At The Lyceum 1985
5. Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
6. Iron Maiden -Killers
7. Judas Priest -Ram It Down
8. Rainbow -Difficult To Cure
9. Saxon -Wheels Of Steel
10. Dio -Holy Diver
